Kronach auto industry evaluates economic stimulus package

Entrepreneurs often do not hold back with criticism of the grand coalition. With the economic stimulus package, this is obviously different – at least for some of the car dealers and automotive suppliers in the region. The general tenor is that the direction of the push is right.

The plant manager of power-cast zitzmann, jens soldner, speaks of "positive incentives for the consumer and his industry, which he associates with the stimulus package. The company is 100 percent an automotive supplier. At the beginning of the corona crisis, when carmakers reduced or shut down production, this also had an impact on the company’s workforce, he recalls. A large part of the workforce was forced into short-time work and thus suffered wage losses. In april, power-cast zitzmann was particularly affected by the corona crisis, with capacity utilization at less than 20 percent.

The railroad contributed to the economic development of the city and provided wages and bread for generations of railroad workers.

The successes of the private "ludwigs railroad from nurnberg to furth encouraged operators to expand. Various proposals were considered. The 1836 planned project of the "nurnberg-northern border railroad company envisaged a route from nurnberg via bamberg to hof. Due to miscalculations and excessive costs, the project was doomed to fail again as early as 1840.

The medieval market sinks in the mud

Literally suffocated in the mud and flooded is the rough medieval market on castle rabenstein. It all looked pretty bleak on sunday. In the afternoon at 2 o'clock the first traders were already packing up and dismantling their stands. Without rubber boots, there was no chance of wading through the mud after days of rainfall.

A mother from the district of furstenfeldbruck, who had her three children with her and was fighting her way through the mud, said that enough was enough now. On sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock she left for home. She was there for the first time and had never experienced anything like it before.
